The table saw is blocking her in, I have to get her out before I put handlebars on.  Oh well :)

Is the loose floor  board a booby trap Prokop?

That's a memorial to my stupidity.  ;D I made the floor from old deck boards spaced inch or so apart.    I keep loosing parts all the time under it, but every so often I drop something really important and cut a hole to retrieve it.

I don't know what I was thinking back in the day  ;)

Never heard of Motobatt.  Is it a gel/sealed battery?

I've become a big fan of Shorai lithium ion batteries.

Finished seat.  Under the cover is a block built out of rebonded urethane foam - aka carpet padding - with softer middle for the tail bone.

I expect great things from this seat, it sure took a long time to build.

Muffler mock up.  The connector has to be ceracoated or something or high temp paint at minimum.

Will you install some type of hangar at the muffler to keep it from contacting the foot peg, and to support the weight?

If I want to keep the muffler, I will have to  ;D

Found a local shop that will weld a bracket on it for me.

frigid here as always this year Prokop-I don't think the temp has risen over 40.  Started snowing today but the sun is bright and shiny now.  Later today I am to meet my daughter's birth mother for the first time since we brought her home from the hospital 23 years ago.  Should be quite interesting to say the least...Larry

Assembly slowly continues, I had to take right control off and solder back wire to the Start button, better now than later.

The only major job is to finish the wiring harness and connect it all in the headlight bucket, I will need few gallons of beer for that.

I sorted out the harness, it all works now.

Made a change too, when key is in P(ark) position, only the tailight and headlight is on, the dash is off. It seemed a good idea :)

Also checked for spark with timing light; good across the board.

The F3 engine came with 657A caburetors, for rebuilt I bought kits with 40 pilot and 120 main jets.

She started right away and  idles beautifully right from the beginning, Pamco with stock airbox is a powerful combination.

But with needle in third position she would not move, I opened the throttle and she promptly fell on her face. Spark plug white like snow.

Needle in 4th position she would move some, but still felt weak.

Today I moved the needle all the way to the bottom and she finally woke up. Every needle change meant taking out airbox and the whole carb rack - compare to this, the K0 is amazingly easy as far as setting needles.

I remember from somewhere, needle notch is about 1.5 in jet size, means she is now running 126 or so jet.  She feels good, but future will show if 125 jets are needed.

She still has shifting problems, nothing but 1 and 2 on the road, with the cover off I can shift up to 5. Puzzled:(

Synchronizing carburetors.

"Yes, honey, the tiller is still broken, I am working on it, the fuel tank needs some attention."  ;D ;D

I rigged this up to be able take her on the road with access to carburetors and to protect the painted tank.

Yes, the picture is misleading. Vacuum gauges were the final job.
