Let's start a couple of oil threads.  That'll stress it.

Speaking of which, I belong to many engine related forums.  It is funny that oil is so vigorously debated in all of them.

I hear by hijack this thread into an oil thread..

How does everyone feel about Amsoil? I personally like it and have seen horsepower increases in my 347's and 428's just by running the Amsoil. Not much...like 3hp.

Just kidding about starting an oil thread :-D

Castor oil! It was the only one that would keep a WW1 rotary in the air!

My sister wanted me to ask "Whats the best oil to put in my turn signal reservoir"......she actually asked me that once

Same girl who told someone that we made her car "front wheel drive for the winter". We rotated the tires...

Actually it was the oil for the first slushboxes - and modern ATF is manufactured to resemble that.

I personally use baby seal fat. It's more expensive, but I have seen a 35 hp gain in my 350F.
