Anyone know what this tool is?
« on: December 02, 2012, 10:24:32 AM »
My granddad owned a service station back in the 50s, 60s and early 70s. Recently, I inherited a bunch of his tools.  There are many things that I cannot identify. I have a whole set of these drivers. Anyone know what they fit?

They look like a set of screwdrivers with these tips.

According to wikipedia those are "clutch" screw drivers.

Common to GM vehicles in the 40's and 50's.

These look like torx bits. Do you have a shot of the end of one?

These pliers were made for spring type hose clamps

Got any other pictures of it? Maybe an adjustable pin spanner?

The second set of pliers look like they may be Hog nail pliers for seat covers..
The Coarse threaded screws in the box are Harmonic Balancer pullers or some type of pully pullers.
The first set of pliers look like what is used in AVIATION and they are called CAM-LOCK pliers.
