Topic: Can anyone tell me what model bike from this vin #?

I got a call from the DOR and the guy that I bought my bike from put the wrong info in, at least I think.  The lady said the year on the bike was a 72 and my bike is a 78.  Anyways I tried searching for the info but couldnt find anything.

Thats what I thought but I wanted to make sure.  Ya the bike I bought is my 78 550.  Seems a little off.
