Hello everyone, I'm new here. I recently picked up an old springer i would like to fit to my 73 cb500. I need to know the inside diameter of the steering neck to see if this thing will even work with this bike.

I suppose what you're really after is the steering stem diameter since it will need to be a compatible size so you can fit bearings. I think it's 30mm, but try using the search function on this forum, it's quite good.
good luck!
