Hello all.
Getting ready to strip and repaint my '78 550 tank. Only two little dings on the tank but the clear coat and pinstripping is in horrible shape. The bike has been sitting for almost 20 years. I was quite pleasantly surprised at how clean the inside of the tank was, almost no rust!!!
I had a question about removing the emblems, did a search and found a good post about removing them. I just wanted to double check with everyone that they should be held on with just some adhesive and posts correct?
I just don't want to be prying only to find there is a nut or something.
