Semi newbie
« on: December 06, 2012, 12:32:29 AM »
Hello there ladies and fellas. My name is Miguel, but revert one just calls me mike. I'm from a place called El Monte CA in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California. I'm a railroad worker for Union Pacific Railroad. But I've spent most of my adult life working and handling cars. I recently got myself a 1978 CB750k that I'm trying to convert into a fun, everyday use cafe racer. So far it's all gone smooth, until now... Trying to fit the 77' 750F rear brakes I realized I'm going to have to make something but don't know where to begin.
It's my birthday, and ill cry if I want to!

So I finally installed the carbs, put the battery, fuel lines, etc... but the damn thing won't kick over, was going to try the kick start but it was running late, no light out, and had to get some food in me before heading in to work. Either way, very successful day putting a lot of things together.

I have figured out the best way, but think I'm going to let someone with a little more knowledge handle that, thinking of getting the old brake splined piece and welding it to the bracket of the F brakes... Going to go to Yoshi from Garage Company for that job... as well as for a bit of wiring modifications...  :D
