1976 CB500 Yoshi built race bike?

A friend of a friend is offering the above to me. He claims its a 1976 CB500 race bike built by Yoshi. I'm a bit skeptical of the the above info beacause either it's actually a CB550 or its older than 1976. I can sort those minor details out myself when I get to see it. My concern is how can I positively confirm this was built by Yoshi? It is also claimed that the motor has only 500 miles on it. If its the real deal and titled, what would this be worth, considering it turns over and is generally complete.

Oh Matt you know how visually stimulated we are. We're going to need to see pictures!

You won't know the extent of engine work without some detective work. If it's been sitting around there must be a reason why.

Yes pics right away and lots of tech details. Get the history, where it was actually built and who did the work. Yosh made a ton of really cool stuff for these bikes, specifically the 500. Pops was quoted as saying he thought he could get 80bhp from the engine when he got his first unit from Honda! If it's a full Yosh build built by Yoshimura it could have everything; 6 speed, Yosh rods, TT cam, fully flowed head etc.
