Topic: turn signal ears

what do you guys use to attach aftermarket turn signals to the forks? I want to ditch the huge signals from the front end. I can find a bunch of alternate headlight mounts but not much for the turn signals, and I dont want to attach the signals to the headlight mount.

Relocation mounts for fork, I found some windscreen mounts that were priced good asw well. Ones pictured range from $20-$100.

Yeah, the place that i get my inspection sticker measures distance between blinkers, so Daves setup is a real headache saver.

Either way...it is important that people see you. and junk.

no way, my cops are cooler than your cops.

I'm not worried about inspections. The few times I had my bikes inspected they didnt get all that anal about blinker distance. They just took my money. Thats why I dont go in for those any more. My motorcycles are for my own personal enjoyments.

Hey, there is no need to be uptight. I actually praised him on making something very functional, but it just wasn't something I was looking for as alluded to in my post. I thought he was being cheeky and taking the piss. No worries.

no worries maganus,i was just showing a way to clamp aftermarket headlight brackets and the indicators at the same time.

it depends on the size of your aftermarket lights, but i just made some tabs out of stock, drilled them and shaped them a bit with a bench grinder, rust painted them black and added them like washers to the lower triple tree bolt setup.

in the back i welded tabs into the frame, but if you have kept the original rearframe setup, then you can make tabs and use them like washers for the bolts like the front.

this picture shows where my lights are at, but doesn't really show the tabs (they ain't fancy anyhow).
