Topic: Anybody running MAC 4 into 2 exhausts....can you post some pictures?

My '78 750K has the orginal 4 into 4 pipes....and all 4 are shot.  I like the balanced look of pipes on both sides of the bike but can't afford those repo 4 into 4's that go four about $950.00.  I would appreciate it if somebody with a 4 cylinder could post some shots of the 4 into 2 if they have it.  I would also like to know how well you like the pipes.

On a DOHC 750 but will give you an idea of their looks. I like them and they sound quite throaty. Cliff.

Wow, that's a clean bike!  I like the look and am glad you're happy with the sound.  I hear a lot of people complain about the sound but it seems they are mostly looking for the loudest exhaust they can get.  I'd like to actually enjoy riding the bike w/out creating a noise disturbance wherever I go.  There are some bikers around me with high-powered "superbikes" that are running wide-open exhausts and seem to enjoy holding their bikes in gear way longer than normal.  I must just be getting old I guess.

I have a set of Jardine's on my 75 CB550 and like them a lot.  They were originally all chrome but the previous owner had spilled something on them and they had some marks and spots.  So I decided to wrap the pipes and was going to paint the mufflers black but after i sand blasted and sanded the mufflers I actually liked that better.  Gave it a neat spun aluminum look.  Pipes have stood up well with no rust even after sanding down the chrome.  Sound is noticeable but not obnoxious. I will try to get a video up.
