i've always had a certain soft spot for the look of classic brit bikes, but this thing just plain broke my heart.

I think the Rocket III is pretty sweet looking. After all the endless repetitions of V2 cruisers, a bike that's "all motor" but without  any V anywhere... works for me.
It actually corners pretty well. There's no problem with power from the 2300cc DOHC 12 valve motor.

Nope sorry I dont like it at all. The body styling and positioning is all harley to me. Thats just how I see it.

I rode it once, it is def. fast, just not my type of bike...

             Man, I think it's about time for new glasses or a trip to the eye doctor. I don't see how this Triumph can  even be thought of being compared to a H-D. Mind you, I am not a fan of Triumphs. When my family had the motor cycle shop, Triumphs and H-D were the "Competition". Now, I kinda liked the look of the Bonneville (old & new) and I don't think this one is half bad. Like PT said, not exactly my style but, it's got a much better look than some of the other bikes that are built now days.

I dunno it's surely got the V-abomination beat in the looks department. I could do without the Hardley riding position as well, but overall not bad. I'm not giving up my SOHC's to get one....
