Topic: Honda cb550 exhaust pipes on a honda cb350f?

Does anyone know whether I can put some cb550 pipes on my honda cb350f? I found some really reasonably priced 550 pipes and would love to be able to work with them. Thanks

If they are nice clean solid pipes you should buy them anyways if they are reasonably priced.Would make some good trade bait or sell them for a proffit to help finance your project. Not many good stock pipes left out there for any of our old machines

If your headers are good and the mufflers are shot. VW beetle mufflers 60's-70's are the same size as the 350f headers and slip right on. They sound pretty good on them and are only 12.00 a pair also they look good when you stagger them.

I know I've seen a picture of a 350f with stock 550 pipes installed on it so I imagine you might be able to fit certain 550 exhausts to a 350f. You might have to figure out a different rear mount or something like that. Who knows? I say buy them and at least try. If it doesn't work you can always resell them.

I put vw Beetle tailpipes on stock 550 head pipes as a temporary fix. It made my chopper sound like two anemic VWs. I still have them if anyone is interested.

That's them I'll post some pictures of them on the bike. I think they sounded pretty good on the 350f myself,but oddly enough it has the vw sound to it.
