Maybe there was something on the track that caused you to spin"? It was still a great pass. Love the mph. My bike will never see those numbers.

Bill you do have that shift light wired up ????? I can still see that BIG SUN DIAL BLOCKING YOUR VIEW. When you shift on the RED LIGHT in your eye you are still looking straight down the track and not a needle moving up and down 4-5 times.

I Got three dayz coming this weekend watching the RED FLASH.  Hope it's not on the tree !!!!!!!

Yes, there was something on the track Saturday. I've got the video to prove it. Bill spun a couple of pairs ahead of me. With about 42 hp at my rear wheel, going sideways 10' out was unexpected. We were both in the right hand lane. About 4 bikes in a row spun in the right lane before something was cleaned off of the track. Forget about my racing as it wasn't with 4 cylinders.

Bill,

Good luck at the Wally race. Sure would be great to see you win that little man with your SOHC. Unfortunately, I don't think I can make the trip. I really need to figure out what's going on with the transmission in the motorhome. We've got a few more events this season that I'd like to use it for accommodations so I'm hoping for a straight forward repair job.

Well, you now know what your goal is for the last 2 races of the season in street ET and the number to shoot for in super eliminator. Best street ET number is now 10.34, but the good news is that 10.65 record I set in S/E has already been surpassed by you. You could "potentially" lower it at the November race. Something to think about!!!!

Thanks for the kind words.  I definitely plan on running S EL!
A new record would be awesome.I'm thinking I can beat the 10.34.....but that 1.38 60 ft might stand a while. Even Chris Wedman was impressed! Lol, still pretty sick so Saturday up in the air, bikes ready though!  Vic Force and Larry Romig working on the Worm!

Dang it man!! I knew you weren't   feeling well throughout the weekend but was hoping the bug would go away once you returned home. I probably should have bought some meds for you in addition to the tea bag, honey and that bag of lemons I gave you. We're not as Young as we used to be so recovery can sometimes take longer. Take care of yourself bro.

Although it was good for the ego, that 1.38 sixty foot didn't help me win any rounds. I found it best for me to find a conservative launch so my short times are consistent and the ETs are close each round. Didn't have time to install my new digital MSD window switch to activate the launch light for this race but it'll be on the bike before Valdosta. Since I don't have a tach, I leave by
sound which is likely now a drawback. One less variable to eliminate.

Just keep working on your launch technique Bill. Your sixty foot times will eventually come down. Now you have another personal  goal to shoot for this season.

By the way, I got that picture off raceworks. I believe I saw one other where I had a 10.38 dial in from my loosing round against Joey on Saturday. I red lighted--- crap.
