Jerry, I was in 14th place coming into this race. I had dropped from 10th at the opening event. Hoping the few round's I won move me back somewhere in the top ten placement. I usually struggle at the Rock for some reason but I'm going to keep a positive attitude move towards the 4 race of the series.

Bill, you and I talked about the unfairness of the current points system for the 2nd round winners. Bottom line, it applies to everyone so that makes it an even playing field. Something does need to be changed for next season so perhaps a petition is in order for signatures by all ET racers at the last race. I'm not one to stir up controversy unless its warranted.

Funny, I thought of doing an on line one. That might work better, but not sure.

No sir. No one was ever happy about the points system. It was the funny clutches we were belly aching about and they got banned this season. So here's the beef; In the first round of eliminations, win or loose, everyone comes back into the 2nd round with the same points. If you win the 2nd round, the guy you sent hone that will not be advancing to the 3rd round like you are gets the same number of points even though he's going home and you get to race in the 3rd round. I only begin to accumulate additional points above and beyond the guy I eliminated in the 2nd round,  if I actually win the 3rd round. Let me recap, I sent him home, I get to advance to the next round but he's out of the race. At that stage, we have the same points.

Ok so where's the November race going to be????

Race in September is at the Rock. November returns to SGMP. I know Dave doesn't like Rockingham so I guess we'll see you guys at the nostalgia race in commerce or at the finals.
Hey Frank
we will be at both and like you, we just could not figure out Rocking-ham. First 1/8 was very consistent, but the last 1/8 was all over the place
and congrats for going deep into the rounds in Memphis

Ok so where's the November race going to be????

Race in September is at the Rock. November returns to SGMP. I know Dave doesn't like Rockingham so I guess we'll see you guys at the nostalgia race in commerce or at the finals.
Hey Frank
we will be at both and like you, we just could not figure out Rocking-ham. First 1/8 was very consistent, but the last 1/8 was all over the place
and congrats for going deep into the rounds in Memphis

Glad to hear you guys will make the Rock. Be great to see you again.

Sorry we didn't make it to  see you. After a long , hot day of racing, we went back to the hotel to rest. I had hoped to leave early but didn't depart the room until after 8:30am. We had an opportunity to pick the granddaughter up on the way home so I didn't want to waste any time getting down the highway. I'll PM you at some point by this weekend with my thoughts.

Thanks again for the CD. I didn't get a chance to open it yet. Did you get many pictures on saturday?
