I'm talking about the grab rail you use to put the bike up on the center stand mounted on the left side frame near the seat.

1975 CB360: 50316-369-000
1975 CB400F: 50316-377-000

Different parts. The 360's handle has a second offset.

If you can't find a used part here or on eBay, I think you can get the part from the MC Again site in Japan (I believe the cb400Fs sold in Japan came with a left and right grab handle).  Good luck, that left side handle really makes it easy to use the center stand.

Yea forgot "is the..." in my subject line.  :-[

When I first got this bike I tried to put it on the center stand and thought what the hell Honda wants me to grab the frame rail that doesn't make sense.  ;D

Thanks for the info I'll continue on my search for the correct part.

arent they different things?  grab rail and frame rail? you talk about both in your posts....
one your passenger grabs, and the other your seat mounts to.
it might be bad to have your frame rails 'missing'  ;D but either can be used to 'lift' your bike onto its center stand.
