Calling Oz & Kiwi's
« on: December 20, 2012, 10:57:20 AM »
Well, it's the 21st of December in the Land Down Under. Is New Zealand and Australia still with us or were the Mayan's right?

Can I have a motorcycle when I get old enough?
If you take care of it.
What do you have to do?
Lot’s of things. You’ve been watching me.
Will you show me all of them?
Sure.
Is it hard?
Not if you have the right attitudes. It’s having the right attitudes that’s hard.

Actually the Mayans didn't have a leap year in their calendar so this should have happened somewhere around 8-9 years ago..... ;D

Yep, still here guys, but I'm schitting myself, I see that my Repco calendar runs out on December the 31st, Maybe the Mayans were just 10 days out? Oooh Noooo............  :o
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Have you had a bad experience with Repco Mick? I find them pretty useful, my biggest disappointment is Supercheap, they were brilliant when they started in Brisbane, they actually sold quality car parts much cheaper than Repco and not just stereo's and tools, but in recent years, they're just crap. Repco and Autobarn still actually sell parts, as well as all that other poop. Cheers, Terry. ;D

No really bad experiences Terry but up until recent times they were bloody expensive, super cheap sort of speaks for itself....   Whats the old saying, you pay peanuts you get monkeys, this goes for parts as well.... ;)

Nah, I figured it all out. The calender maker worked for an #$%* like I do. He was working along and the boss came by and said "you are all the way up to 2012?" "Stop that #$%* and go do that other thing I told ya to do."

I haven't got a Mayan calender, I've looked everywhere but no joy so unfortunately since the Mayans haven't invented anything worthwhile like say the 750cc super bike of the centuary or Posi force lube, I guess their calendar isn't worth jack chit either!
I think the thing I most like about motorcycling is the speed at which my brain must process information at to avoid the numb skulls who are eating pies, playing the ukulele, applying make-up etc in the comfort of their airconditioned armchairs as they make random attempts to kill me!!!!!!!

Just one thought, maybe the Mayans would have finished their bloody calender if the Spanish hadn't wiped them out.  ;D

Yep, I did mine yesterday, 'twas hot and dusty work, and really I would have preferred an apocalypse, but all going well I won't have to mow it again for a month or so, and the beers I drank to wash the dust outta my mouth made up for it. Cheers, Terry. ;D

Yeah guys for me the end was 0504 local time when the snow plow went up and around my drive way, first the light in the sky, then the rumbling, then the sound of rock and gravel being hurled up in the air, then the prehistoric looking machine at the top of the drive way by my front door at which point I said #$%*, it's OK, it's the snow plow, I din't think we got that much snow last night. but that's the way it goes in the Great White North, just a different Apocalypse.
