brake ?
« on: July 12, 2006, 08:01:16 AM »
Hey All,
I'm running out of funds for my 750. I need brakes bad. There is a complete front end with good brakes. Would you take and reuse old brake pads? It is just a temp fix to get the bike up and running. If braking is good would you swap them oput for new. I need pads for both bike's. 77 750F and my 75 GL1000. If bought all new pads it could cost in the $175.00 range, a little too pricey for me right now.

Well, it depends on what's wrong with your current system, I guess. Are your lines shot? Does the M need rebuilding? The Caliper? Or is it just in need of new pads?
