need a tank

have to find a replacement tank ,i have a sportster style tank now that sits on the top frame rail,one question,when i find one can i run my pet cock into a splitter to feed the carb's or do i need to pets,i have one petcock with 2 connections on it now but its welded to the tank

Maybe a picture of what you are trying to accomplish and what bike you are trying to accomplish it on would help, I'm having issues visualizing what exactly you are trying to do.
It's almost twice as old as me, I don't know how the hell it works!

If you need a tank talk to these guys....looks like they figured out how to get one running again.

Makes what we do getting these old bikes in shape look like child's play.

You can come off the petcock with a single hose to a "T" or "Y" and split to each bank of carbs..
