Measuring Primary chain stretch

Per the 750 shop manual procedure, a maximum chain stretch figure of 70mm is measured from the case to the tensioner arm.
Mine is at 67.65 currently.

Anyone ever measure that on a new chain???

I did but its been a while. IIRC new is 65. If so you're about half done.

Good info.

So we can safely say 65-70mm (as measured per the manual) is the full life of the Primary chain. I think the 2nd half is going to go a little faster :)
