will k1 gas tank fit over frame of k8

Looking for info as stated.  Will it fit. Petcock side shouldn't be an issue? Maybe,  I just need a better looking tank and the k1 is listed tor sale.

It should fit...K8 tank is longer, so with a k1 seat there will be empty space between your seat and your tank.  K1 tank has dual outlet petcock on the other side of the tank, so will have fuel line shenanigans.

Thx would the fuel line need to y from 2 to 1 or could I use the org petcock

You have to use the K1 petcock, it's different than the K8 by a long shot.  The fuel line does need to "y" from 2 to 1 with the K1 tanks, should be pretty easy to do.
