5 years collecting parts new and NOS from 9 countries. Got tired of that so I decided it was time. 1+ years assembly. Slow but sure. I'm still missing a few NOS parts I'd like to have but I haven't given up looking  My guesstimation is this bike is 90%+ new/NOS and now has 6 miles on the NOS speedo in addition to the ~ 31,000 miles I put on it since buying it new in 1975. It has amazed me over the last 2 days/6 miles how smooth and perfect it feels. I can't wait to turn the new 900 high performance engine loose. It feels real strong.

Here's a few shots I took today. Hope they come out OK. Too bad I couldn't take them together  It's impossible though, same bike in both color skins.

There is MUCH that went into this and I'd be glad to go into more specifics or details. Just ask or pm. With all the take off parts being good with slight wear and tear that I have I will be building a second bike beginning this year. I'll only need very few parts plus it'll be more modified. Should be fun.

What was a Yoshi kitted 812 is now:
900 Henry Abe kit - NOS fitted with 3 piece oil rings - not sure about the compression, probably 10.5:1
900 Honda cylinder base o-rings - thanks to Big Jay for the taper 
APE lightened and balanced crank - Big Jay also did the cylinders for me
Carrillo rods - again thanks to Big Jay
Fast by Gast tranny
APE studs top and bottom
Mofo Stage IV head by JMR aka Mike Rieck - Fully ported with 5mm Kibblewhite stem conversion valve kit which includes new bronze guides, new viton stem seals, 34mm stainless intakes, stock size 28mm stainless exhaust, heavy duty springs, titanium retainers
Megacycle 125-75 cam with APE adjustable sprocket
Heavy Duty Tsubaki Camilla cam chain with KA tensioner
Standard new Honda primary chains and roller
All new gaskets and seals including MLS head and cylinder gaskets
Dyna 2000 ignition with 3ohm dyna coils
CR31 Keihin carbs
Chrome by Browns
Kerker exhaust
Powder coated engine with black base coat and satin clear coat - head sprayed with PJ1 satin black - oil pan, oil filter housing, and clutch cover powdered with metallic silver and satin clear powder
All new Honda bolts top and bottom with polished stainless allen heads on the covers

Am I missing anything? It just needs a few miles and a dyno  which are non-existent around these parts

Found this bike several years ago. Was looking for something to do. Love the CB's and the 750 was a dream bike back in the day for me. Started searching on how I wanted to fix her up. I'm to old for the hard tail choppers. Not a big fan of the Bobbers, Café or Street fighters. Found someone that did something like a bagger and new that was what I wanted to do. Didn't know at the time about the K's and F's, so that was my first challenge. Got the manuals and downloaded the resources that helped me take her down for a total rebuild. Found a way to mount a Fat Bob two piece tank, HD rear and front fender as well as the Police style seat. Also because she was an "F" bike there was a challenge for exhaust pipes. So I studied and found out that same year "K" parts would fit on an "F". Found some old "Triple A" floorboards and some after market "K" exhaust (MAC four into two turn outs) that mounted/bolted right up. Also added some "K" side covers. I named her "Tin Lizzie" and painted her yellow for my sister that passed away.
I added the wood accents because I'm retired and woodworking is my hobby. Thought it would look neat and add to the old time feel of the bike. Don't let the looks fool you, she's still a 78, 750F at heart!!  Most all other accents are Honda or HD stuff.

I have to be honest here. I laughed at the Tin Lizze bike when I saw it. After "really" looking it is a fine job and a great looking bike. Thought, time and work. Four  .

Jerry's bike is super sweet also. The thought, work, time and effort is way impressive too! Some super talented folks right here! It also gets the four  .

So, liking them both the same I really can't vote. Both deserve a win.

Jerry's a mate of mine, and has done an excellent job replacing just about every part on his bike with mega-expensive NOS parts. Beautiful result mate, well done.

On the other hand, DHoulton has built an entirely new (for SOHC4 fans) style of bike that is not immediately recognisable as an F3, and the finished item looks magnificent, from any angle.

I guess the "winner" of this month's BOTM will be the result of the voters personal choice, will they conservatively prefer an "Improved Standard", or will they see the art that has been created in a whole new motorcycle genre? It should be a great competition! Cheers, Terry.

Just didn't have the heart to temporarily install a used emblem and Bill put the heat on me to get pictures  LOL They're kinda tough to get off. Marbles Motors has new repro's which I will probably do. Gotta be better than most used. He tells me his emblems are molded from good emblems. I tried sanding out a scratch in one of the letters and found out what I wasn't sure about - the gold is only a plating and not very deep. So much for that type of restore.

In spite of that I guessitimate the bike is 85% to 90% new/nos. I was going for everything except the frame and engine cases

I would have liked the red bike better if it was blue.
The dresser took quite some effort as well. Certainly don't see those every day either.

Wow!!    Just watched the Super Bowl and checked in. This was my Super Bowl. I am humbled. Thanks to all that voted. I'm pleasantly surprised especially going up against the wonderful creation Dennis did with his F. My hat is off to him. You're not going to find a nicer 'conversion' than what he achieved. A lot of love, thought and creative hard work went into his bike. He's a winner too in my opinion!

Some disappointing news though, I bid on 2 more NOS parts on EBay tonight during the Super Bowl that I did not have yet to find and lost those but I'm not done yet!! I'll continue to attempt to find those few precious parts and keep up the insanity

It was an honor being nominated and going up against a Master builder. You put everything into your bike and it is very deserving. That is one work of art and craftsman ship. Thanks to those that voted for Tin Lizzie and all that stopped buy to have a look. This is a great place to learn and get inspired to be creative.
