Yes, sitting in the garage. This is a well equipped 2011 with 11K on the clock. Has the big radio, bluetooth and more. Even came with a TRD exhaust.  8) Color was right also as my Tundra Crew Max is the same.

The old ford Taurus was getting old. Drove that thing for 12 years! Longest time for any vehicle I owned. The price was right being end of month and end of year. Came with the full warranty. At 1.9% it was cheap money to borrow. It was time for an upgrade.  :)

We sat in a new one several months ago and fell in love with it. Wanted one ever since but looked for a used one. We are very happy with it.

Of course I can't leave the ride alone! Ordering these tomorrow.  ;)

Congrats!   Def an upgrade from the Tauras, that's an old man's car!  My wife inherited one last year from her father, we gave it to our daughter as her first car and she didn't want it! Traded for a Rav4.

I've had a few Toyotas and all have been great vehicles. You have a Tundra so you know that. Sounds like you bought it right, I don't like buying new. Did you trade the Tauras?

Like the Enkeis....you going to drill the rotors....ha!

Sure did! Check engine light and all!

Actually, it was a very good car. Towards the end the check engine light problem would not go away. Had some of the best work on it but after way to much money it was never fixed. It was off when I traded. I carried a 10 mm wrench with me to disconnect the battery! Had a damaged front spoiler from hitting a dog. Mikki backed into a fire hydrant leaving a hole in the bumper. Dings, dents etc.  ;D

Towards the end you could smell gas. It even smelled at the dealership. They gave me $2000 for it over the phone. They tried to back out of it but the other half wouldn't let them.  ;D  She even got another $800 off because one tire had a piece of rubber out of the rim protector. Did not effect the tire but she was concerned. We put new tires on it the next day just to ease the worries she had.  ;)

I stroked $4500 down plus the car. Bought it right, or at least I would like to think so. You know car dealers, they make it somewhere.

Not going to do much with it other than an Injen SR tuned intake and a Cusco strut bar. Intake is here. Waiting on the strut bar.

You might run a bit hotter with that intake installed.  If TRD, or someone similar does an ECU flash, or upgrade that can bump up the EFI to match, I'd suggest that too.

I'll check into that but from what I have read (so far) it's bolt and go.

Thanks.

Oh c'mon - if you do the intake, at least consider a bigger throttle body to take advantage of all that free air.  Then maybe just a mild ecu reflash to fuel it right, then, oh, maybe a ported intake manifold, and that'll want some nice header to really flow, then you might as well get a bigger cat and do the rest of the exhaust too, and since you've got the strut bar, should think about some decent coil overs, and probably a fatter rear sway bar...

Why even bother with the intake?

Seriously, it's a nice car.  My 13 old civic (bone stock, not a rice rocket, I promise!) is about to turn over 350,000 kms and is getting pretty tired.  I'm starting to look at replacements too.  I keep floating back to a nice used WRX.

What happened to the Enkei's?

Can't get the right offset. I don't want the wheel out 5 mm.

I can go to a 7.5 rim width with a +38 offset but leaning towards 8.0 rim width. Also want a brighter finish on a white car.

Still kicking the football around.

5mm is only .20", not enough to be an issue (or be visible).

What are those wheels on that Honda(?)?

Don't remember. It was a forum I did a search on. I think those might be 19 inch wheels. Bremmer Kraft BR-09.

The wheels on the tC sit very nice in the body. I'm trying to keep the stock look down the side. I do love the polished lip on the Enkei's however.

Bremmer's are $660.00 a set. Enkei's $752.00.

Like I said, back and forth for days. I'm retired so I can take my time.  :D

My S2000 had 16" Enkeis on it when I bought it [stock wheel]. Good wheels, but a little bland and narrow. Once the Bridgestones wore out, bought new 18" wheels with Yokohamas. I remember it taking a long time to choose the right wheel/tire combo that I really liked. And sold the stock wheels on ebay.
Sold but not forgotten...

Sweet!  8)

It's a tough choice especially when you can't see them in person.

Maybe a road trip to Reno?

Yeah, like where can I get a set of ET slotted mags?  Back in the day, there were 3 wheels to have, Cragers, Keystones, and ET's.
Go metric, every inch of the way!
