Where did the manuals go?
« on: December 30, 2012, 08:04:07 PM »
Hey Guys,

When looking for the shop manual today (for the 550) I found the links with strikes through them...

I went through the main forum page, down to the 550 soh4c.net link and into the "Manuals and Books" section. Not sure if they've been redirected or taken down for good, but a head's up to all. Hopefully someone has some insight.

They're still at the second post on SOHC/4 Bikes.

They used to live at media fire but now they seem to be at Minus.com but still available. 550 manual is 77.7MB
Last year I joined a support group for procrastinators.
We haven't met yet.

Both methods worked, and I picked one up. Appreciate the feedback.

Just go to Ebay and buy a manual, or go to the store and buy yourself a manual.

Nothing like owning a BOOK.

When I learn to read maybe I'll appreciate owning a book. Until then I'll keep printing out the PDF's, putting them in a binder and having my mommy read the pages aloud when I need help.

The topic wasn't so much about myself needing a manual as it was just being surprised by the strike-through and wondering if anyone knew what happened. I thought I had read recently that the site was beta testing another host location for our forum, so I wondered whether or not information was being transferred over. I could be losing my mind, but either way I always appreciate the quips Lucky.
