At the ripe old age of 27, I'm off work with 2 buldged discs in my lower back, they are pressing on a nerve and giving me shocking pain and numbness in my left leg. I've been going to physio the last few weeks, and I can walk again but it is going to be a while before I'm back into full swing. I guess I should refrain from lifting clutches and wheel hubs that weigh in the region of 80kg when I only weigh 75kg .
My Mother and Father are 93. I will never make it.
G'Day Bill, good to see that your Dad is still going well, my Dad turns 86 on Sunday, and still acts like a 20 year old! Cheers, Terry.

I have had plenty of opportunities since I was 21 to find that expiration date. I may start taking care of myself. All I can figure is Jesus loves me, or the Devil isn't ready yet.
I'll be 56 on March 4th and for the most part I'm blessed to be in good health. No medication, pills, of any kind for blood pressure, cholesterol, etc. that's all normal. But I do have a couple of disc in my neck that causes pressure on a nerve that I go to a chiropractor on a regular basis for that keeps me pain free for the most so I can ride my 750's. I have a weak lower back that goes out at times and it messed up on me yesterday all I was doing was bending down to pick up some clothes to put in the washer and bam I felt the pain in my back. Now Im walking around funny and putting ice and heat on it through out the day.So what types of aches and pains does everyone else have here?
43 and in decent health here except a few extra pounds. I have my wife to thank. She makes sure I eat rite and walk daily. She has a vested interest in my ticker. She tells me she wants me to continue to f**k her well into retirement.

I fractured c4-c5 completely through when I was 23.. Then walked around with the broken neck as Army doctors said it was a dislocated shoulder.. They were more worried about a broken collarbone which I didn't have.. Fast forward 4 months later broke my L1-L4 and numerous bones plus multiple internal organ damage....My back constantly goes out (bed ridden for a few days minimum)....... I am 31 now ... The neck injury has caused Radiculopathy of all 4 limbs.. Docs diangosed me with Stenosis (SP?) at age 25 after a year of physical therapy.... I was told it means my back is the same as an 80 year old. I always reflect and think it could be worse.. But yeah, the back is a PITA.. The kids growing up and playing sports always helps deal with the daily aches and pains..
