Anyone else having trouble with Photobucket?
« on: November 17, 2012, 05:50:19 AM »
Photobucket recently "upgraded" and after about a week or so, mine has become unusable. The page never seems to finish loading. I can't upload anything. None of the links on the page do anything when I click on them. I've been trying to find a way to contact Photobucket, but like I said, clicking on anything on the page does nothing.

I haven't made any changes to my computer that I'm aware of. Are there settings that I can change that may affect this? There's a link on Photobucket to "switch back to old Photobucket", but again....clicking it does nothing.

Having trouble also-it seems that every website at sometime or another decides to change something that works fine to something I cannot figure out how it works, guess that belongs in the what pisses you off thread though.  I am going to look for the revert to old look...Larry

The new photobucket will not work with IE but does work with Mozilla.  Thanks for the tip on switching back to the original look dave500

I can't even switch back to the old site. Nothing happens when I click on any of the link/tabs on the home page. I can't even contact them for help.

Tried this on my laptop and got the same thing. I'm hearing from lots of people with the same problem.

Mine finally started working after 3 or 4 days. First thing I did was switch back to the "old" photobucket.

Ive always thought PB was slower than frozen turds but I figured that was because I didnt pay for extra services. Time to find another host site I guess.

I've had no problems running on W7 & IE.
Didn't like the changes at first but got use to it now.
They should have left it alone.

My photobucket won't go back to the original.   :o  :(    But i figured out the new setup ok.   ;)   You just put your curser on the photo that you want to post and a little gear shows up. Put your curser on the gear and move it down to " Get media links " and click on it. Then go to the bottom and click on " IMG code "  After that just go to the page you want the picture at and click on it.
Then just click " PASTE " and yer done !   Cheers !!
