Low-profile clocks: Intellitronix?

My objective is to locate some decent low-profile clocks... I am all about analog, that's not the issue -- it's the DEPTH, and I can't go with these minis I see online because they're too damn miniature.  While this product does seem a little audacious, I like the fact that they're as thin as 2 inches.  Since I own a 3D printer, I could make housings for them if I can't retrofit the stock clock housings, or I'll get Dad to help me mill something in his machine shop.

Anyone have some input on this, short of lambasting the use of modern tech on classic machines?  They'd be placed on my '75 CB400F, which will be commuting more than anything in the near future.

Incidentally, they have an analog cable-based sending unit, or a GPS based sensor as well.

I'll take any suggestions out there... I don't get out much.
