Howdy! Picked up a 76 CB550F Super Sport today that needs some love and attention. This isn't my first bike project, but it is my first 4-cylinder bike resto. Looks like tons of great info here, and I look forward to contributing as much as I can!

Welcome from Texas!  That was my first CB too, but yours looks better than my did when first purchased.
How's it run?

PS. Is your seat ripped and keeping it stock? If yes, look in the FS thread, Erick has one for sale (originals are hard to find)

Thanks! It ran fair, and I'm positive that a good carb overhaul and throttle adjustment will do it wonders. Yes, there is one 2-inch long slice in the seat, and I thought about just finding a new cover and piping for it. We'll see how many funds are left towards the end.
