Bet everyone has tried EBC at one time or another.
The price is appealing!

I was stubborn and tried them 3 x's on 3 different bikes.
-82 CB650
-82GL500i
-04 Triumph Daytona

All of them squealed.

All of them are getting replaced with OEM.
Sent an e-mail to EBC customer service and am getting money back for all pads when returned to them.

Here's a pic comparison on a set I'm changing out now.
For reference: the OEM Honda pads are blue.

Visual differences are apparent.  Likely composition differences too.
EBC has to hit a certain 'price point', in order to lure folks away from OEM, right?
Come on!  We're burning daylight!

Stupid question. I decided I might just go with genuine Honda - but when I went to Ron Ayers they list these pad as sold "each" for about $35 (78 CB750f). Am I really looking at this right? That they don't sell them as pairs? I hate to whine, but dual disks in front plus one in the back and I'm looking at $35 x 6 = $210 plus tax and shipping.

Yep, I just bought replacements for my front at 34 a piece and replace my rear drum brakes as well.  Luckily I just had to buy two but it is pretty lame they don't come in pairs.  I got 10% off of mine so that helped cover shipping.

Yikes! Thanks for the explanation. So my revised math looks like this -
Partsnmore brake pads $15 per pair x 3 = $45. Shipping $8. Total = $53.
Honda OEM brake pads $35 each x 6 = $210. Shipping $6. Total = $216.
Now I know why everyone has tried aftermarket pads at least once. Here goes my first time!

Stubborn.

Now your math will be OEM Honda + aftermarket.  You'll be in the red.
