Interesting seat you got there. What are your plans for the 4-4 pipes?

Hey I really like those gauge faces, best "custom" ones I've seen.

I probably will hold on to the pipes for now TEWS19  but they have rust holes in them ..not as good they look in the pics.

Well got done with the front brake caliper rebuild..The bracket i mirror polished just the top..and left the rest of the bracket natural with a coat of mothers polish to give it a satin look.  All i need now is a speed bleeder and stainless piston ..which are aon order.

Hard to see..but all cracks were V-grooved and filled with a two part epoxy...Then sanded and VHT chassis epoxy used to give it a satin finish. Stainless button head screws replace the factory phillips bolts

I see really great work with attention to detail.  It takes times to do but the finished product always speaks for itself.  I am of the same school of thought, carry on sir!

High guys..i am doing a mock-up of the master cyl and left handlebar controls on a set of test bars...My factory switches were very very bad and broken..Awhile back i found these aftermarket switches for about $10 They have slide contacts like the factory ones and bullet connectors at the end. The only thing is the wires are a slightly smaller gauge than factory. Think i will have any problems??  The switches are cast like the oem. The turn signal is not the self cancel type though.  I will probably be using this master (2004 ZX636) and the clutch perch from the same bike. Kinda like the way it looks. What do you all think???

Good looking switches, where are they from?

I believe one cable is not a problem as long as you make sure it does not jump out of the carb end anchor.

Got the switches from Ebay ....They were cheap enough so i got the right and left side to see how the quality was. Really not bad at all.

Thanks Viktor.J  ..When i installed the tri-bar headlight i had to trim a small inside lip of the light where the bulb goes. Because of the indention of the factory bucket, But is simple and does not hurt the headlight in anyway ;D

Hello all !!  been working to much..but thought i would share some small updates for the K4 project. Got the valve cover, Chain cover, and upper tree powdercoated so far. fabricated a speedo bracket to bolt on the tree. The speedo should lay flat with the bars. There will be a hole in  the bracket for handle bar wiring to go through eventually. I just mocked the speedo up with the upper tree...So the phillips bolts are not the ones i'm using.

more pics of speedo mock up with bracket...The only issue that could be a problem is where the speedo cable hooks up..but it looks like it will be enough room away from the frame neck, so it wont have a tight bend. I think it will turn out awesome.

Some TLC going into this build.

I like where it's headed so far.
