So...I went for a safety check. (A requirement before getting plates here in Ontario.)

He didn't like a few things...no chainguard was what killed it. So, I temporarily tie-wrapped a plastic chainguard onto the bike.
Stupid but at least it will pass and I can cut it off asap.

He also did not like my Lossa exhaust....not one bit. His words..."its pretty f-n loud". I said hey, its engineered and sold in California...aren't they the toughest state? We argued a bit, he said it is my problem if I get pulled over.

It's no where near as loud as a Harley with straight pipes...and I see those everyday, so I'll take my chances.

I also had to add a bar stop to the frame so my clipon's wouldn't touch the tank. No biggie...

I should be "on the road" by next weekend. Looking forward to riding!

Ugh...Everyone is building them so fast I can't keep up!.  Nice work. Great bike. Enjoy it and ride a mile for me...Mine's taking for ever.

Love the bike! You started with some nice bits too!

On a side note, everyone should get certified before you build if you can, I took mine to Canadian Tire and got certified without unloading it from the truck...

You pay now or you pay later, after you threw out all your fenders, cut your frame, mounted a straight pipe, shaved the turn signals, etc...

Maybe I got lucky, but it's nice insurance when you start throwing money at a bike.
