CR750 Build

Hi well after many months of searching,buying,beging etc, i have almost finished my dry build, i have tacked all the welds, because i am not a very good welder, the bike is ready for stripping, the frame will be welded up, painted black, tank will be painted red to match the seat, new braided oil hoses will be fitted, supplied by LMP, and i hope to do a few parade laps next year, will keep you posted on the build.

I am loving your machine.  It looks like you are about 6 months ahead of me....   

Erm.  You've probably been about 6 months ahead of me for almost a decade.  LOL   

Your excellent progress definitely is inspiring!

Hi all, i went down to the motor factors to day, bought some oil, went to the garage and bought some petrol, thought can i get it running before the end of the year. just filled the carbs up, using a couple pieces of tubing, and a funnel. after a few kicks, BANG, it burst into life, frightend me to death, wow what a awsome sound, bouncing off my garage walls. now to get it looking well. got a few bits to come yet, but who's a happy bunny, going into the new year,  HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL.

Have a CR750 stator in Hi Perf For Sale,may have CR box also,found the mainshaft with all gears,now wheres the counter? Probably next to the rotor.That's rt no rotor.Sorry to hijack but wanted you CR guys to know,may have rear brake cable(s),need picture! Thanks,Bill

Hi Simon, I went with the Boyer, the reason being, i already had one, yes i have to keep my workshop tidy, because i brew my own wine in 5 gallon barrels, so don't want any problems with contamination. hic, hic, all the best Tony

Top man Tony! Been thinking of getting back into home brew vino for a while but I'm always out off thinking of the elderberry my old man made when it all blew up over his car! Wouldn't want to clean that off the CR lol
