These may be the lowest oem parts prices
« on: January 10, 2013, 08:29:45 PM »
I was told about this by someone I know on the Saunders Goldwing forum. The prices I checked were lower than Western Honda. Since it's in Washington, I'd have to pay sales tax but out-of-staters might find a good deal here.

Yes, but how much are the shipping charges?

This.  Prices are indeed low though, which is pretty darn neat.

Curious if all the parts show as available are actually available and for sale.  I've seen dealers not updating their inventory and just showing prices from 15 years ago.

I spent about an hour looking through schematics and it looked good to me.  The discontinued parts or ones that are not available were all listed as such so I suspect everything is accurate.  These places don't actually keep all this stuff in stock, they order it from honda and then send it to you.

Things are a bit different up here in Canada.  I've used a honda dealer online fiche like this one and he was showing as having wrinkle tanks in stock.

They all use the same fiche.  Like I said, the parts that are discontinued showed as such from this retailer.

I placed an order for about $50 of parts and the shipping was $10 (to Georgia). Even with the shipping it was still the same or cheaper as anybody else. I'll let you know if/when I receive the stuff.

Heh, if it's all good these guys might soon be wondering why they're getting such a sudden increase in business!

Megacycle cams wants over $85.00 each to refinish rocker arms.  Over $680.00 + shipping.

I just purchased 8 new arms at:

http://www.partzilla.com/parts/search/Honda/Motorcycle/parts.html

for just over $317.00

That included FREE Shipping on over $250 order, plus an additional 5% off if you use the PROMO CODE : meetsister

Apparently the heat used during weld up of used arms is a questionable weakening/distortion issue as well.

I was getting my parts from Honda Parts Direct.  They were almost always cheaper than Ebay or other
online sources.  I just compared prices from them to prices from South Sound Honda.  The parts I need
come to 318.72 from Honda Parts Direct including shipping.  The same parts from South Sound Honda
come out to 276.03 including shipping.  That's a savings of $42.68!  I doubt you can beat that pricing
anywhere else.  I just placed the order with them and will let you know if everything goes smoothly.

I had been using partzilla as well before reading this post. The savings are only slightly more but it will add up over time.

I had been using service honda, which was already a decent discount on list, but I always felt shipping was expensive. Nice to find someone willing to do it cheaper.

I just placed an order for $41.64 and my shipping was $10 (total $51.64). This order is going to Oklahoma. Looks like there shipping charges are going to be the same as the above order going to GA.

Seems Western's prices for rocker arms are higher than Partzilla's... plus if you use "meetsister" at checkout take 5% more off + FREE SHIPPING on orders over $250.00

Western:

   ARM B, VALVE ROCKER 14432-300-030    004    $63.40    $45.33

Partzilla:`

14431-300-030   ARM A, VALVE ROCKER   $63.40   $41.84

14432-300-030   ARM B, VALVE ROCKER   $63.40   $41.84
