wow.  power failure at home led to not being able to sign in, lost password recover efforts failed, re-registering at previous email address failed, finally able to register under "steamer" using gmail.

lost my messages, posts, yadda. 

steam-powered man is dead, long live "steamer"!

clicked on both links and got this:  "an error has occurred!"

buh-buy steam-powered man.  really, it's ok.  am ready for a new persona.  in this next life i'll be taller and not quite as good lookin'.   ;)
