The brakes kept me in wonderland for a long time.  Were they off a F bike honda never released?  Where they from another brand? 

From what I can tell they are stock off a 73.  The fork is a possibly a stock 73.  To do the dual disc conversion the original owner had to switch and reverse the lowers.  The brace one side sits backwards, with spacers added to make it fit.  Pretty imaginative!  Works too.
The fork lowers look just like the K1 lowers my bike came with. These use the "C" type mounting bracket. Since you mentioned spacers, it would indicate you have a modified left side bracket for use on the added right side disc, VS the aftermarket magnesium bracket that was fitted to my bike. Since the right and left fork legs have been switched, the modified bracket with the spacers is now on the left. Attached is a pic of a K1 leg on the left, with a later "T" bracket leg on the right.

I got yah, it didn't make since last night.  Why would there be a dampening bolt on the lower leg, this is just to hold in the oil flow rod.  Seems like an odd part.

Has any one modified these to work with racetech valves, if this is even possible....

Here are my plugs after a full tune on my 71 750:
Valves- .002 intake .003 exhaust
Points- .015
Stock coils and new honda tec points, condenser and plate.
Hondaman transistor installed- plugs look like this with or without the ignition installed.
Plug caps are NGK 5kohm and are on tight.
4 to 1 exhaust (unknown brand)
K&N air filter in stock air box
Cleaned grounds and wires
Spark on all four plugs
Float bowl setting 23mm on all four and vent tubes are clear.
Timed spot on static and with light.

What else could I check to get the fowling to stop?

There is a slight backfire at idle. No color to exhaust.

She looks to be running really fat on #2 & 3 but they are all over the place. What jets are currently in the bike? Balance the carbs for sure.
BTW... I am guessing you are a visual professional?

120 and 40

I'd say I'm a bit lean on 1/4 and rich on 2/3.

I started the diagnosis with electrical problems has I just went back to points, this is when the range in plug color showed up. I'd say carbs make sense. My timing might be a bit advanced too, trying to compensate...

I'll do a better balance tomorrow.
