New guy from Dallas area
« on: January 13, 2013, 07:07:41 PM »
I just bought a '75 model in fairly poor condition.  It's been turned into a ratty cafe racer.  It actually looks pretty cool but needs some work.  This is my first older bike as everything else I've had has been more modern.  My last bike was a Yamaha R1, which I didn't really enjoy because it was just too much for the street (for me anyway).  The good news is this bike is pretty rust free and the motor seems to be in decent shape.  I'm sure I'll have some questions so thanks in advance!

It runs, but I can't get it going in this cold weather we're having.  I'm sure it needs some carb cleaning/tuning.  Hell it could just be old gas since I just got it this weekend.  I haven't done anything to it yet but put it in the garage and stare at it...and wish for warm weather.
