550 coil, NGK spark plug wire connectors
« on: January 14, 2013, 10:14:51 am »
I was wondering if anyone here have used these NGK wire connectors to add wire to coils that have been cut short? I've a bunch of coils that came in cut back short, just sitting on a shelf. I see dime city cycles has these connectors, where you cut back the old wire an inch or so away from the coil and just add these connectors and new wire for $8.95 each. almost sounds too easy to work well, but it is NGK, has anyone else tried these?

A few Honda 500's, a few Honda 550's, a few Honda 650's, '72 cb 450, a couple 500/550/650 hybrids, and 2001 750.

Picked them up at the snowmobile shop for $7 each, I read that one of the members installed some on his machine yesterday , so I'll try them. Don't know if they are crap or not but they are NGK and not some unknown brand.
