Topic: Petcock for 76 550k tank to feed 78 cb550 PD46C carbs

I have a 78 cb550k which has a donor tank (without petcock) from a 76 cb550k.  From the research I have done it seems that the stock petcock for the 76 has two outlet that feeds the carbs in two place.  However, the 78 feeds the PD46C carbs in only one place (i believe) and hence has only one outlet.

I do still have the petcock from the 78 tank; will this fit directly onto the 76?  I dont have the 76 tank in my posession at the moment so I can't check the fit.  They do both have threaded connections but I'm not sure if they are the same.

So, if anybody knows of a petcock with a single outlet that fits on a 76 cb550 please let me know!
