What forks will fit a CB550?

My forks are pretty bad looking since the headlamp ears were removed not to mention they leak pretty bad

What forks would be a direct swap for a 1975 CB550?

im rebuilding a set of forks... no need to replace them... probably have bad fork seals which are about a $10 replacement... but im going another step and installing cartridge emulators in mine for better performance

I'd rebuild them if they didn't look like rusty piles of dung.  The pitting is so horrible that I'm wondering about the integrity of them.

Buy new fork stanchions ??? They are available for the 650's so I would imagine they are available for the 550.

yes and no...they will bolt on but tubes are longer.  May be advantageous
for your bike?
