Update to mine thanks to a pair of vise grips to the top of the tank and the joys of candy paint...

You stole my brake light ,,,, how do you like it?  Do you find it bright enough? Beautiful bike

I really like it.  Couldn't imagine going a different route with the light.  I think it's plenty bright enough.  I had toyed with the idea of using two to have a double layer but with the way tail slopes i decided against it.  Where did you get yours?  Mine is from Radiantz.

First ride complete!  Mother nature tried to dissuade but we overcame!  Here's to many more!

yeah Stev-o. we have no pictures. it was WAY too cold and wet to think about anything but the destination (some DELICIOUS bbq down in St Simons Islnad, GA). since I have not gone through Fiona and replaced everything yet, there were issues. we were driving 20 miles and realized my new aftermarket petcock for the 78F was choking the fuel flow. it was starving badly and would not let me ride above 4000rpm. it even died on me coming up to a stoplight. we headed 20 miles back to my house to reinstall the original leaky petcock. thankfully it doesn't leak out of the face, just does not close all the way. better than not supplying enough fuel.

also had some charging issues. not sure if it was the regulator, rectifier or battery, but I put yolandas "new" oregon motorcycle regulator in, as well as the rectifier. also dropped in my trusty scorpion sealed battery. after 200 miles of riding I came home and put it on the charger and it was instantly full charge. so thats a relief! overall it was a great ride. agin....cold, and wet, but great.

Sorry to hear you had issues Chef, and nothing worse than a cold wet ride.

At least you figured out what it was and didn't get stranded.

well considering I've only put 300 miles on the bike, the issues have to pop up sometime soon! yeah not the most pleasant of rides but it was a good experience, good food, and good company. looking forward to riding with Curt again, not to mention he'll be helping me with my cafe build :D

Haha. Thanks. I just put out that build thread a day or two ago. Got the front wheel in the mail yesterday for that build.

Looks like reproduction carb boots for the 77-78 CB750's are finally available. Stumbled upon these the other day and thought I'd share, I think I'll be picking up a set for myself a little closer to spring.

Yes! excited to be approaching entry to this club.

I know this isn't a tech thread, but since we're all here in one place, does anyone know where to get a new (simple!) wiring harness to move electrical world under my seat? I ripped all the wiring out it was a complete mess and I want to re-do it completely. Lucking out on answers elsewhere... here's a few pics of where I'm at!

Took my K8 for a ride the other day, would like to today but it's 36 degrees out right now! Eff that, I live down here for the mild winters.

It was a nice ride in the hills....

Nice tank, eh John?!
