Would i be better to 836 .bigger intake valves and p&polish head? Maybe a mild cam upgrade?
I plan on doing engine mods in fall to my 750 k5.Try to figuire which way to increase hp without going broke?

Nah mate, like most Ebay sellers he's full of #$%*, the F2 produced about 4 BHP more than the other sohc engines, but was also a lot more fragile. Also, Vesrah gaskets are fine, as are most rings sold on Ebay. Just another E-Wanker, ha ha!

Get an 836cc kit, (you can't beat cubes) get Mike Rieck to build you one of his magnificent heads, fit a Megacycle cam and a a Dyna S ignition, and your bike will fly! cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

This guy got good $$$ for his engine. Since it is basically a hybrid F2/F3 with bigger valves, stronger valve springs, hemi type head (I think?), and higher compression pistons it might actually make 12hp over a K4, K5 or K6. However it's not going to do that compared to K0, K1, F0, F1, K7, K8. I think thats probably where the 4hp comes in. Sounds like he put together a nice STOCK engine. If you do the 836, bigger valves, port the head, cam and valve springs, etc you will SMOKE his engine. However at this point plan or spending some more bucks on BIG carbs and you'd KILL this dude's engine !!
