Another Noob
« on: January 16, 2013, 06:09:05 AM »
Hi guys, this isn't my first post... though it maybe should have been  ;)  Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself...

I've been lurking here on an off for a couple years. This is a great forum, I'm sure I'll learn a lot from you guys, and I hope to be able to contribute as well.

If you haven't figured it out, my name is Jesse ;) I live in Wisconsin, am 35 years old,, have got 1 wife, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 0 kids, and 5 bikes in the garage, one that's road worthy  An'86 BMW K100rs is my "daily driver" and I've got a cb350f that I restored (cosmetically) a few years ago that now needs mechanical restoration, as well as two cb350 twins and a cb750 that I got for parts/project bikes.

I've worked construction my whole life, and tinkered with bikes and metal working in my spare time. About a year ago, I decided I really didn't like my work anymore, and that life is too short to spend most of it doing something that you hate, so I decided to "follow my bliss".  I've been working on outfitting my shop so that I can produce all things metal, a lot of them will be bike related. I still need some tools and equipment, but I'm to the point now that I can actually start making things. I've got some custom sand cast tank emblems available with more in the works, as well as finned engine covers for the cb350f and cb750 + many other things. Stay tuned....

Here's some pics of the cb350 restoration:

Thanks. It'll be a while untill i get to the 350f and 750f covers, I've got other stuff in the works at the moment, but they're definitely on the list and I will definately post pics when I do get to them.

...the pics now that my post count is up to 5?  ;) I linked the images from another forum that I'm a member of, and I just read in the "newbies start here" thread that I need 5 posts to be able to post links... if all else fails read the directions, right? ;D

The good news is it looks like your pics are showing up now,bad news is it looks like only one dog shows interest in motorcycles. Nice job on the 350!

GL!
