Hello everyone from Poland
« on: January 20, 2013, 09:03:52 AM »
Hello everyone!

My name is Grzegorz (Gregory) , I'm 23 and I live I Warsaw, Poland.

I have CB 500 Four, made in 1971. I bought it two months ago from guy in Netherlands. In my view, my motorcycle is in well condition due to the age of made.
Of course, it needs a lot of time and work to make it perfect one, but I'm suprised that over 40 years old motorcycle looks  so nice.
The biggest problem  is increasing corrosion of exhaust system, unfortunatelny there appeared small holes.
I'm going to dismant it and wonder, what to do next.
I have never had this kind of motorcycle before, but when I first time saw CB 500F I fell in love immediately :-)

I can say, I share my interests and job becouse I work in one of Honda's dealers in Warsaw.

I hope I will learn a lot from you, If you have any questions, do not hasitate to ask!
Grzegorz

Welcome from Texas!  Your bike looks great, like the blue color, kind of rare to see.

The rusted exhaust is a common issue with these old Hondas. Is it just small holes or large?

Hi! It is nice to here my bike looks good, thank you ;)
Holes are not so big but there are a lot of this.. This is why my bike is a little louder than stock one and has another acoustic color.

Czesc Grzegosz

Witam do naszego malego klubu.  Tu jest strasznie duzo informacji o co kolwieg chcesz wiedziec o tych motocycklach.

I try an practic my Polish when I can as it's slowly fading.

The cb500 is a fantastic bike.  You'll enjoy it a lot riding those country rods if you can get out of Warsaw.  Although I hear the highway system is a lot better since they were built up for the world cup last year.
