Rewiring rectifier
« on: January 20, 2013, 10:20:19 AM »
I have rectifier that checks ok, but the wires near the plug are in really bad shape.  I would  like to replace the wires, but I am not sure if I should just splice new wires or tak the whole rectifier apart and replace wires in full length.

Anybody done this?

Search the cheap regulator thread

I went with oregon for my reg rec combo. Warranty if failure on his part and if you fry it you pay to fix just the problem. Good guy and is plug and play. 100$ tho
