Just a heads up, those shocks are not that great, i have a brand new set and won't be using them, only bought them to mock up with, I'm yet to see any shocks new under about $500 dollars that are worth using.... You get what you pay for when it comes to suspension parts...

I like the tank. Long and flat - reminiscent of a CR.

tank showed up today...looks great...so now i gotta relocate the coils...im thinking under the seat but idk...also in the pic you see the lil space near where the seat n tank would meet up...i could get a pan an make a lil platform on the pan to fill the gap an the tank can sit on that..other options are modding the back bone or the tunnel of the tank...making the platform would be the least amount of work

dime city cycles...i made 2 orders that day bout an hour apart 1 as a guest on there site 1 as a member...now both things they send an email that says this...You can expect an email update from us within 48 hours if there are going to be any delays and also note that we may ship some items in separate boxes e.g. handle bars, fuel tanks, seats, etc...

Once your gear is loaded for shipping you'll be notified automatically with a tracking number via email....now ok explain how 1 order had a tracking number the next day an day after it showed up...other order i got nothing besides that first email or anything for 7 days..i even emailed em twice an got no response...once on a saturday an once on a tuesday...then i posted a pissed off comment on their facebook page wednesday an a hour later i got a tracking number an 2 days later it showed up...so thats 9 days but still...i didnt expect it the same exact day as first order..what pissed me off the most was emailing em an getting no response

metalhead, I was wondering what the deal with that tank is, why does it sit so high at the rear? Is the tunnel so tight that it won't fit around the frame even with the coils out? The tank looks shorter than the stock tank ,will you be able to slide it back down the spine to get a better fit with the new seat?
I ve heard of guys beating the hell out of the tunnel to get it to fit, not a fan, if you only needed a little more room  inside you could try leaving the cap tight and shooting some air up the petcock., sounds painful right.. but if only a bit more clearance is needed I have found the air will spread the tunnel wider. of course no telling how much air it can take before bad crap happens . I make it breathe like a set of lungs, fill ,release fill , release... check spread and so on. normally this enlarges the tunnel in the front of the tank more than the rear depending on its rear mounting construction. I have not buckled a tank or had one blow out yet, so I can't say if I'm just that good, or  stupid and lucky , but it has always worked for me. Thought I would throw that out there in case another tank is fixin to take a beating. To squeeze the tunnel tighter, ratchet strap it with ratchet over the tunnel , the strap  doesn't leave marks .
A few Honda 500's, a few Honda 550's, a few Honda 650's, '72 cb 450, a couple 500/550/650 hybrids, and 2001 750.

tank is probably few inches shorter n its laying on the frame...its high in back cuz the backbone of the bike is curved n i want to keep the tank laying flat..blowing air in the tank would defeat the purpose of me buying that tank for the shape...gap looks worse in the pic but im gonna build like a rubber platform or something that will fill the gap n yeah the tunnel is too tight for the coils to fit...i do appreciate your ideas though
