After getting the seat pan sand blasted I was kinda disappointed. It looked like swiss cheese. I tried welding a small patch in place of a hole. Wow... it was pretty thin! I had the welder down as low as it would go and still was burning through.

I decided to put a few thin layers of fiberglass on it to stiffen it up a bit.

After 3 layers of fiberglass I hit it with some sandpaper to knock down some of the rough edges and put two coats of bed liner on it.


It turned out pretty good. Just need to get it reupholstered now.
