I know what I'm doing tomorrow. I received the seat from Voxonda and will make some brackets to weld on the frame. :) And fit some tires, and a bracket for the steeringdamper, and a fairing support, and adapt some alloy sprockets, and .... ;) Oeps, seems that Saturday don't have enough hours in it. :)

Happy newyear and best wishes to all.

Take them and the rims to work, much easy-er to do then at home with tyreleavers.  ;)

brake calipers: not good. These brembo's are to wide and touch the spokes of the front wheel. Luckily there where some brakepistons missing and i didn't ordered them yet. ;)
I think i need some of a Bmw K75 or K100.
Small setback, without money lost, got them for free.
All by all, a very busy Saturday.

What Brembos? Those big ole rotors are the issue. I use F05's with original rotors and had to fool a long time to make them work.

Yeah, very functional indeed.  :) Very first attempt in building a fuel tank myself. Welded with easyweld or should i say soldered?
There probably will be an "evolution" in tank form in the future. Maybe a bit more elegant. ;)

The rotors are from a Yamaha and the discs are custom made for me, they are only half the width of the originals and much lighter. I have 1 cm between the discs and the forklegs, on each side.
Could you measure the overall width of a F05 caliper? Mine are F08, but not very sure.
Thank you

Yes those are 08's. Sorry I'm away from where my bike is for awhile and can't find a picture or measure the modified caliper. Basically removed material from the backside at the same angle as the spokes to clear. I just can't say for sure you can remove enough from the 08's but I think maybe Voxonda (Rob) has.

Thanks for the reply, but i think that the best solution is to obtain some F05's. Going to contact some people who might help me or point me in the right direction. ;)

Thank you

They are smaller and lots of braking power. I use a 12mm Brembo master and it's a good combination.

My "quest" for the brembo's F05 hasn't had much result yet. ( holidays) But i found a very nice looking oilcooler (for free) and another seat ( also for free). Too bad it is 5 cm to wide, looks very comfy.

Last sunday my neighbour came to my garage to chitchat about bikes. Nice tires , he said, like the profile but is the rear tyre not mounted backwarts? What do you know about bikes, of course the tyre is not mounted backwarts. ::) Look at the arrow on the tyre.  :o Ouch. Humble pie. I made a beginners mistake and mounted the rear tyre wrong way around. What was i thinking. :(
Thank god for neighbours. :)

Had some spare time today and mounted the carbs and the oilcooler. And reversed the rear tyre ;). Lined up the chain to.
