Cam chain how many links ?
« on: February 03, 2013, 05:34:40 AM »
Thought I would fit a new cam chain when the bike is apart anyway. The engine has clearly been restored before by an amateur, between head and cylinder, instead of original thick rubber seals there had fit 3 regular orings on top of each other !?! Not promising, but at least I now know why it had leaked :)

But the new chain is 3 links longere than the one fitted. So I would like to now exactly how many link there is on a stock chain ?

Best regards Tommy Hummel

94 links on a cb750 sohc4 chain. That's how many the new one that I just put into a K7 has and the same for the old one.
