A good friend of mine lives about 60 miles South of me. When I had the 1981 CBX he came up and we fussed a little bit.

At that time there was a CB1100F for sale in my Town. It was painted black and without turn signals. Compression was 160 across. Bike ran awesome. He bought it.

After working on a few things he started the repaint. Looks awesome!

Did not touch the engine. Bike was really clean just painted black. He did the paint work.

He has a CB 750. 73 I think. Cars under the cover. Winter home.

Tom sent me an email of his completed CB 1100F. He does fantasic work.

Also VERY nice. I like Scrambler, and esp. like the Scramblers and twin CB's with those two-tone flat sided tanks.

Ladies and Gentleman!

As most of you know I have been flipping and selling bikes. The reason was funding. I talked with Tom two (2) days ago and he wanted to ride it for a while. No problem I said. Just keep me first.

Well, today I was first and just purchased the bike. Ordering up some stock ignition wire and caps. Pick up on Saturday. We are waiting on the rear grab rail that is on it's way.

I broke my funding kitty but I'm one fricken happy camper!

Very nice tt. You mean your constant stream of bikes will now end...I was living vicariously through you...you can't do that... Send that bike down here right away so you won't have that garage space issue. Besides, your wife doesn't ride a big bike like the 1100 does she (other than as passenger?).

I take it the after is the new to come paint scheme? I really like that one. They ressurected the red white and blue scheme on the CBR600 with it's redesign, about time Honda.

The bike has fresh paint less than 3 weeks old. Ordered the OEM wires and caps today. Yellow has to go!

Other half on back of CBX. This is my rocket!

I'm pretty jazzed on this one. This model was on my "hit list" for purchase. I followed them on flea bay for quite some time, never see them listed locally. A few pop up from time to time in Phoenix but in need of work. I figured if I let it pass I would never find another one in this condition and this close by.

I gave Tom his asking price because I know it's right. He spent a lot of time painting and decal work on the the bike. Other than a valve adjustment and carburetor sync it's good to go with 12K on the clock. Just get rid of the yellow wires.

I've owned a few sport bikes one of which was the Hayabusa. This is no where near the bike but will provide the same kick in the pants for me. Never lose any money as the value keeps climbing on a one year run.

That candy pearl maui red and white scheme is very nice! '83 was a good year.
The blue bikes looked good too, but I agree the red is a keeper.
The sylvania silverstar ultra bulbs are said to have superior light if you will be riding much at night.

I just liked riding mine, it was comfortable and fitted me just right, did i mention how cool they look....
