Personally...and I mean that...screw aluminum rods. What can anybody say bad about Carrillo's except they are too cheap to buy them. ;D ;D It's funny. ;D ;D I'll agree with Frank...that small end is way different (and crappy) as well as the big end. 70's stuff. I wouldn't trust any of that stuff in an expensive motor.

Never ever had issue's with them. Keep in mind Pops never ever intended them for pistons larger than 64 m/m (812cc). They where designed for roadracing! Not Dragracing. Ran them for years on the street, after 3 seasons of abuse in a racebike. But years move on and there are other options..................

Rob, they're still in Calendar Girl, but when I go CycleX 915 and Mike's Stage III head, I'm planning on ltwt crank and Carrillo's. In the meantime I'm fine with them.But if I'm spending $ I really believe Carrillo's the best way to go. ;D Bill
