Gasket alignment
« on: July 15, 2013, 07:33:11 PM »
Hi all,

Getting ready to put my top end back together (cb750 k7). I got a set of gaskets, but when I put the cylinder gasket on, the fit seems terrible (pics below). Its especially bad around the cam chain tensioner. Is this normal? Is it ok to trim it?

Thanks

it's hard to tell from your pictures. i would say it looks pretty flush everywhere...how does it fit around the oi galley o-rings? that'll be the critical part when you put it back together.

Turn it upside down.
